Raaz was a member of the dramatic society The Players and starred in plays at the National School of Drama. He has starred in several films including Bhopai Express, Jungle, Monsoon Wedding, Company, Road, Mumbai Matinee, Love in Nepal, Run, Fool and Final, Welcome, Hari Puttar, No Problem, West Is West, Delhi Belly, Department, Pocket Gangsters, Second Hand Husband, and Monsoon Mangoes. In 2004 Raaz won a Dhaka International Film Festival Jury Prized Award for Best Actor for Raghu Romeo.
