He partnered with Geronimo for more than 20 years at WAVA-FM and WJFK-FM. Don’s last day was in 2008 and O’Meara continued the show as The Mike O’Meara Show. The final radio broadcast was in 2009 and the show moved to a podcast. The book Open Mike: From Corporate Radio to New Media: The Story of The Mike O’Meara Show was published in 2014. He also owned O’Meara’s restaurant and Pub in Manassas, Virginia.
