As an actor he starred in the television series Mind of Mencia from 2007 to 2008. Amini had recurring roles as Armenian in the TV series Geo’s Pizza from 2012 to 2013 and as Stalker Steve in the series Real Rob in 2015. He has also starred in the films Shakespeare’s Merchant, Anti-Narcotics, Mind of the Warrior, Beer Pong Saved My Life, Lunch Break, Shirin in Love, Maul Dogs, and Beyond Paradise. He wrote and hosted the TV series Minutes with Max Amini and wrote and starred in the special Max Amini: Authentically Absurd.
