In his private life, he is married to María Alexandra Pulido and they have 6 children together. Furthermore, he is a sports fan and loves to play tennis and baseball, as well as he runs marathons and practices skiing and water sky. He also loves to spend his free time reading, since he is an avid reader of contemporary Iberoamerican history.
