It was in April 2012, when Koh spun off Fragrance’s hotel arm into Global Premium Hotels, listing the budget hotel chain, while he is now expanding it into commercial real estate. In addition to his property business, Koh is an avid vintage car collector. As such, he made headlines back in 2008 for suing a Rolls-Royce dealer in Singapore for allegedly selling him a defective Phantom car.
