Real Estate: In 2005, James bought a home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles for $2.1 million. He sold the home in November 2019 for $4.1 million to an heiress to the Getty Oil fortune. Earlier in 2019 James bought a home in the Toluca Lake area for $6.4 million from film producer Dana Brunetti.
