He went on to co-create several characters with Stan Lee at Marvel including the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and the Hulk. Kirby also worked at DC Comics and created the Fourth World saga. He was so influential to the industry that the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame and Jack Kirby Awards were named after him. Jack Kirby passed away on February 6, 1994 at 76 years old.
