The Hochschild Group is made up of Hochschild Mining, the Group’s gold and silver mining arm, and Cementos Pacasmayo, the cement-making arm. Over the last five years, the company has launched mining operations in a number of countries, including Argentina, Mexico, and Canada, thereby increasing its value. Since 2006, Hochschild Mining has appeared on the London Stock Exchange, and Cementos Pacasmayo was first listed on the New York Stock Exchange in February of 2012. The Hochschild Group originally made its fortune selling metals to the Allied Forces during World War II.
