Since 2009 Packham has presented the BBC nature television series Springwatch. He has authored the books The Flying Gourmet’s Guide, Bird Brain of Britain, Chris Packham’s Wild Shots, Chris Packham Back Garden Nature Reserve, Chris Packham Wild Side of Town: Getting to Know the Wildlife in Our Towns and Cities, Nature’s Calendar, Chris Packham Nature Handbook, The Wonder of Birds: nature, art, culture, Pets in Portraits, A Misuse of Nature, and Fingers in the Sparkle Jar: A Memoir. His sister is British fashion designer Jenny Packham.
