Perry’s William Monk series began in 1990 and has more than 20 books. She is also known for her The World War I series, The Christmas stories series, The Christmas Collections series, and Timepiece series. Anne Perry won the 2001 Edgar Award for Best Short Story for “Heroes”. Her father was physicist Dr. Henry Rainsford Hulme.
